He deserves a promotion for being willing to stop the lawbreakers and protect the children in his charge.

Please focus on the real facts, Ms Rita is not the victim! She was in the wrong!

This is idiotic, the dangerous driver was wrong, not the teacher - gimme a break! Don't you teach law-abiding behavior at your school?!

Props to this guy for going above and beyond, and shame on this Rita idiot who only care about her own self interests. She’s teaching her own children that rules are not applicable to them, regardless of who it could protect.

Parents need to set the example by following the rules.

The Teacher was Right! She was wrong and taking evasive action. If she wasn’t stoping over his arm waving she was not going to STOP without a MaJor Intervention! Brave man to put his life on line. For the little kids who couldnt JUMP OUT OF WAY. And she is still not getting it talking about HOW She and Daughter Were LATE. Like that equaled RUN DOWN or RUN OVER by a SUV. For a 1st grader or 2nd Grader or 3 rd grader. Her Driver License Needs to be Revoked for Reckless Driving!

The parent was wrong. The teacher did what he believed would stop the car from possibly injuring children. He should not be suspended.

That woman is a disgrace. He did the right thing. Shame on the local media for their spin.

I think it’s ridiculous that you would even consider taking action against this teacher after failed attempts to stop that vehicle. Punish those responsible for breaking actual rules and putting kids in danger. Absolutely disgusting that punishment of a teacher in this case would even be considered. Just be thankful she didn’t hit someone.

Don't punish a teacher for doing what he needed to do to stop an entitled mom. He was thinking of the kids first. As she should have been also.

His actions were not Orthodox but his intentions are what we should have guiding our children. He plays himself In harm's way to stop a person that could definitely have put young children's lives at risk.

I teach. He was protecting and serving. Let him work! Let him live!

This woman isn’t following any rules and expects nothing to be done. Yet when the teacher does his job she is acting like the victim! Get your kid up earlier. It’s no ones fault but your own your kid is late. We have enough to worry about at our kids schools rather than someone who isn’t even suppose to be there goes on a rampage about about not getting HER way! She should pay a fine and the teacher should get teacher of the week award!

This teacher did an outstanding job protecting the kids and enforcing the car pool rules. Rules are there for a reason.

Appreciate his passion & commitment to the safety of the children.
