Please charge Rita with vehicular assault, reckless driving etc. She violated the gentleman by continue to drive despite his justified legal interference of her cars path. He should be commended and given a raise.

The teacher should be commended for his efforts. That lady was totally out of line, the teachers and cones were there to provide safety for the kids, the audacity of her to disregard all safety measures because she was running late.

So Rita might be a member of the community, but she knew what she was doing going to the news station. Totally ridiculous, you are better people than she is by sticking up for her.

Don't discipline a teacher for doing whatever he thought was necessary to protect his kids... We're at the peak of outrage culture in this country and yet when we faced with something potentially worth outrage - we direct it at the man trying to protect his school students....and NOT the woman (who is a former teacher and should know better) who blatantly disregarded all the rules, and multiple warning before being adorned with a new hood ornament...

I would hope teachers at my children's schools would be equally concerned about the children's safety as this man was. Rita should be ticketed and fined for reckless endangerment in a school zone

As a mom of 4, I would hope my kids would be protected by a teacher like Coach Young! Rita, YOU ARE WRONG. You put those kids in danger by going around cones, weaving in and out of elementary traffic! Shame on you, you are a mother! This man is a HERO!!
