If the teacher needs discipline, the mom should have her license revoked for not obeying traffic laws.

This teacher did what he had to do to protect the kids. What if a child was run over? What if another person was hit? Is that when it'll be a problem?

Exact kind of dude I'd want looking out for my kids at school.

Rita car wasn’t a regular,she ignored cones&warnings,her intentions weren’t know,she could have been crazed lunatic,bravo to the teacher,Rita lateness could have been serious accident to students especially if their crossing in the area cones off to cars,shame on RIta and the embarrassment she caused to her daughter

Disciplinary action should be taken against the parent (and possibly news station for horrible reporting), but definitely NOT the teacher, who is to be commended!!!

Please don't punish this teacher. There are days when I would love to do the exact same thing. After 4 years in car line duty I have seen far too many close calls, with parents that think they do not need to follow the rules, ever. Please let Rita know she was wrong and you support your teachers. Thanks!!

Not the way I would have handled it BUT, he was acting out of concer for the safety of the children. Ms Rita needs to get up a little earlier.

I am Team AARON! This is the man/teacher I trust with my children. I think Rita should be ashamed of herself. Something tells me Rita is a professional victim. I wonder how many lawsuits she has filed over the years.
