I work my school’s pickup line daily and sympathize with Mr. Morgan. I commend him for his actions and commitment to all of the students at his school.

Teachers always put their students before anyone else’s needs. He was protecting kids! Even the child in the car, who is learning to disrespect teachers and authority figures.

I am in total support of Coach Young and his actions. Rita is trepassing. If she is going to the high school, she has no reason to be in the parking lot of the elementary school. Furthermore, we as parents know the rules are in place for the safety of the children. We all know in elementary school that kids have a tendency to run and not look when going across a parking lot or intersection. I believe that his actions are warranted. Especially by her actions, she continued to be in motion with him on the car and without a clear visual.

I can’t belive the superintendent apologized to Rita, the cause of the problem. She should be banned from school property and he should be commended for his efforts to protect the children.

I support this teacher for attempting to show the student in the car it’s necessary to follow rules. The parent should’ve turned around when 1st confronted and redirected by the teacher.

As a teacher, I completely understand him protecting those kids. Not saying his actions were ok but no disciplinary action should be taken towards him

As a mother of 3 and an elementary school employee I see this teacher's actions as heroic.

Parent was wrong and admitted it on camera. What type of message are we to send our children if her actions are condone??

Protect this teacher so he may continue to protect the children.

The cones are there to protect the children. Without his direct actions she would have continued to ignore his and other teachers yelling and signals and possibly hurt a student in the future.
