I agree with the teacher!!

As a parent of an elementary age child, I condemn this teacher for his actions. While it was against policy and there should be some sort of reprimand, he should not lose his job over it. There should be charges brought against the parent who chose to drive through the school, knowing it was closed off and she was endangering the lives of young children.

This teacher was driven by instinct to protect the children of his school. More should be like him.

I appreciate the dedication you showed in doing your job. You risked your safety for those who you were in charge of protecting. Well done sir!

As a student myself I truly appreciate the courageous acts taken to help protect these kids. Self entitlement should not be a reason for acting recklessly and the teacher should not have to be punished for the parent’s lack of moral compass.

I believe mr. Morgan went above and beyond to stop this parent from ignoring the rules that are in place to protect the school children and do not believe he should be defending his actions. Shame on the parent that believes that she is the victim.

My kids aren't students there but I fully support this as a parent resident of Fort Bend County. I was so bothered by this news story and couldn't believe the lack of personal accountability and the ridiculous righteousness this lady showed. She put kids in danger and set a bad example. I commend this teacher and feel we need more actions like this to call out those that bend the rules or don't think they apply to them.

Why do people think they are above the rules? I admire this teacher! And shame on you mom !

Good for you Mr. Morgan! Looking out for your students safety was your first priority and you shouldn't be punished at all. It's about time people understand you can't break the rules just because you are late somewhere. Tired of entitled people.

Driving around safety parking cones is so dangerous. Please do not punish a teacher who was trying to stop a person from doing this.

I support this teacher for doing the right thing and for doing what he did to protect his students and standing up for the right thing and for standing up for a parent who thought the rules don't apply to her a person who disobeyed the rules and was driving where she had no business driving and endangering students because she was running late and was unbelievably rude.

She needs to take responsibility for breaking the rules and good for him for protecting the traffic rules for protection of the children . Her kid didn’t even go to that school! Smh
