Good for you! I only hope there are teachers like you when my child starts school. That woman was out of line because her actions caused her to be late Thank you for what you did and continue to do!!!

Thank you for doing your job! The rules just do not apply to some people, or they think. I'm sick of it too! Taking a shortcut through an elementary school parking lot at dismissal time is not a short cut and every teacher and parent knows this fact.

Disciplining a teacher for doing the right thing, protecting the other students, is one reason our country is facing a teacher shortage, lack of support. Do the right thing and fine that parent for breaking school driving rules!

The only person who should be disciplined is the parent. She is teaching her child that rules do not apply. Had her child been hurt by another parent trying the same thing, she would have been the crying foul and the school system would find themselves in a lawsuit.

25 years I have watched parents disobey the traffic laws. I say he did what needed to be done.

Appreciate our teachers every day. They not only help our children learn, but they do so much more. The safety and well being of the children is definitely this teachers priority.

Looks like a parent who feels entitled and therefore feels the law doesn't apply to her. She had no concern for the safety of other children or cared why the cones were there. All that mattered is that she was running late. Her attitude speaks volumes when she states "you don't know who you're dealing with". Great example she set for her daughter; break the law, don't follow the rules and threaten/intimidate others for trying to do their jobs, oh..and keep that camera going.

HERO

Mr Morgan did nothing wrong! The woman was breaking the law and should be given tickets from the police for everything she admitted to on that tape. She should also be charged with attempting to do bodily harm with her car because she didn't stop her car. This man is a hero because he cares more for those kids she could have hit than himself!

As a fellow teacher, I understand this teacher’s fury with a parent who thinks they are above the rules - especially when breaking the rule endangers students. For her to drive AROUND the teacher is so disrespectful. She should no longer be allowed to drive on school property after that stunt. Should the teacher have jumped on her car? Of course not. But the anger and disrespect he must have felt... There is no way he should be anything more than reprimanded with a kind reminder not to physically engage with parents.

Thank you, Coach Bowman! You truly do care about your kids!
