I can’t believe that we have to go to these measures. There should be NO doubt in anyone’s mind that this man did exactly what had to be done in order to stop an idiot! Rules apply to everyone!!! Just because she is running late it doesn’t make her right.

I’m a teacher. He was doing his job, plain and simple! He should be given an award, she on the other hand should be slapped! “Who does this?” Yes Rita, who does what you did!! No one but self entitled people who don’t think the rules apply to them!! This man should be applauded and thanked for keeping our babies safe! Shame on you Rita, shame on YOU!!

This is absolutely pathetic. This teacher was doing his job to ensure the safety and well being of the students; for the school to not outwardly support this man is exactly what’s wrong with the American Education System: too much politics and legality and too little logic and common sense. If this man is fired or punished in any way, it should seriously bring into question the priorities of the school and it’s administration.

This teacher is my hero! As someone who participates in school drop off lines, I know how hectic and dangerous it can be. The woman behind the wheel was clearly in the wrong. The teacher did what he must to protect the kids. I applaud him.

The parent was absolutely in the wrong. This teacher should not be punished. Our elementary principal would chew anyone out who couldn’t follow drop of procedures and this woman’s kid doesn’t even go to the school. I’m disgusted with how this is portrayed.
