I commend this man he did very thing in his power including risking his life to inforce the rule that no care shall pass due to the safety of children. As a parent I am moved to know there are people out there willing to go above and beyond for children left in their care. As for the mother she should be ashamed of herself for even allowing the situation to go this far. He was not the first teacher to try and stop her . She wasn't worried about any children in the area she was worried about not being late which was no one's fault in the school. The rules should not be bent to tend to her tardiness especially if it puts children in danger

Sincerely hope that the only action the school is taking is against the entitled woman who CHOSE TO BREAK THE LAW because she has horrid time management skills. The teacher was doing the only thing he could to try to protect his students from her recklessness.

Too many times I see ignorant parents running behind so they cut through parking lots and just drop their kids off and the kid has to walk in the school through the actual drop off line! Someone is going to get hurt if rules aren’t enforced! Thank God for this awesome teacher stepping up!!!!

Please take this man off suspension! He was doing his job, actually above and beyond. If i lived in the area, this would actually make me send my kid to your school, the level you go to to keep my babies safe makes me feel secure in leaving them there. If anything, the mother should be reprimanded! You need to learn how to protect your teachers too!

I think what Mr. Morgan did was very brave. No action should be taken against him for doing his job... Protecting the children. While using a slightly different tactic he was doing what he was told... Unlike Rita who was told TWICE to stop and preceded to break the rules.

I do not believe there should be any disciplinary action against this teacher. Ms. Ray was wrong to cut through the cones and place children at risk. Mr. Morgan took bold action to get her attention and redirect her.
