He needs a medal.

This man did what he thought necessary to protect children. Good for him.

He is a hero. She should have gotten a ticket for child endangerment. The outcome would have been different if a child had gotten hurt.

Great job protecting your students from inconsiderate people that think they are the only people on this earth!

Support the teacher. This is what’s wrong with the schools if they continue to appease entitled righteous parents. Discipline, respect and following the rules starts at home coming from the parents. The parent needs to understand that like everyone else rules are in place for a reason and they need to be the example for the kid and follow the rules.

He did the right thing protecting those elementary kids. That woman was clearly in the wrong and all because her hs kid was running late that she would put elementary kids in harms way. Shame on her. She or anyone else are not above the rules , I believe she should be sighted and she should apologize not only to the teacher but the whole school for putting them in harms way and being selfish.

As a retired teacher, the most difficult times of day were arrival and dismissal, because the safety of my students was paramount. This mother modeled rebellion and a disdain for following rules for her own children. And then she modeled disrespect for an authority figure. She clearly thinks she is above the rules and should not have to wait her turn like those who comply. Kudos to this teacher!

Teachers protecting students is what we want. She's no different than a school shooter. Only she had a car and not a gun But the teacher stopped it before she fired shots(ran over a kid). She should receive traffic citations for the three traffic laws she chose to not obey

I totally agree with the teacher he was looking out for there kids. Those cones are put there for a reason not to cut through it’s to block off traffic that parent was in the wrong she even said her self that other teachers were flagging her down to stop plus what if she would of hit a child then what the public would go crazy and blam the school for not protecting there students

This teacher was protecting students with his life. This mother was in the wrong, endangering children, running late, ignoring three teachers telling her no. Aaron was the last line of defense for children and he stepped up. Fine that mother heavily!

Need more teachers like him. Great job.

The mom was wrong and she knows it. This teacher should receive a medal. I would love to have more like him willing to protect our children at any cost. Shame on you Rita! Rules are in place for a reason SAFETY IS THE NUMBER ONE PRIORITY!

Teacher did the right thing, parents need to get themselves and children up earlier so they can get to their school on time, cutting through another schools parking lot/loading zone is unacceptable anytime, especially when students are present

Thank you for taking the safety and lives of the children seriously. This is a drop off for children. ..We can't have people disregarding their safety just to make it somewhere on time/ get out of the line quicker. Thank you for putting the children first.

I agree with what he did. A child's safety is far more important then someone trying to slide by the rules just so she could try to avoid inconveniences of her daughter being late to high school.
