Thank you for keeping our kids safe. The world needs more amazing teachers like you.

I’m also an elementary teacher and I agree that he should keep his job and the lady should be held accountable for causing all these problems for him! She didn’t follow the rules and is mad he called her on it. No one should have apologized to her. It should have been her apologizing to him and the elementary parents dropping their kids off!

The idea that a parent deliberately put the lives of other children at risk because she did not have good time management skills is disgusting. She was late, she is not entitled to special treatment. The rules apply to everyone. This teacher is amazing and he did the right thing. He deserves to be celebrated, the school district should of supported him.

This young teacher is a hero. Those line-cutting parents put everyone in danger when they think the rules don't apply to them. I helped in the carpool line, as a volunteer, for 2 years. Believe me, there are many times I wanted to jump on a parent's car. Mr. Morgan should be given a commendation and a raise.

He should not be punished for trying to keep the children safe! What if that was a safe spot kids could walk through and that woman hit one? What she did is not okay and i applaud this man and i would feel safe sending my babies there!

Way to put the kids first! Too many entitled parents, whether it be drop off or pick up or driving in the school zone.

This teacher did the right thing. Rules are there for a reason.

I fully support this wonderful teacher and the lengths he went to, to protect his students from someone that had an obvious disregard for their safety.

As a parent we should now better and be example even in daily routines to our children. His action might have been a tiny bit over the top but it would have never been an issue if the parent had simply followed the driveline rules from the begining. I deal with driveline everyday and yes there are times I want to take the shortcut but I look to my right and see my daughter. I'd rather be a few minutes late than explain to my daughter why I broke a simple rule or get into an altercation over it with another parent being cut off in driveline. This teacher was doing right by the rules, the school and the students!

Should he have gotten on her car? Maybe not, but in no way should she have tried to cut through an elementary school. She was in the wrong and those cones are there for a reason. She needs to be told to take some accountability for her actions and all parents should thank him for working so hard to keep their kids safe! He was doing his job!
