You did not deserve an apology you broke the rule and thankfully there is a teacher there willing to teach your child to follow rules and protect the elementary students. There's a Jim Carrey line from Liar Liar that comes to mind... no it wasn't the law and still stop breaking the the rules...

Ok lady you were cutting thru an ELEMENTARY SCHOOL parking lot! That’s not ok! You should rather suffer the consequences of being late than risk hitting a kid in the parking lot. Also you were probably driving stupid and fast to begin with. Thank you teacher for standing up for these kids.

I commend this teacher for doing his job to make sure procedures and safety policies are upheld. As an educator, I would hope that administration sees the value of this gentlesman's actions to ensure that the children of his school are safe. While unorthodox, it sometimes takes such actions to make a difference.

I have children in school in the Houston area and wish there were teachers watching out for my babies like this. Teachers should have authority in schools again and people should obey laws all the time but especially in school zones. Why was there no punishment to the driver for disobeying traffic laws in a school zone. Aren’t fines doubled in school zones? Media has failed us and if this teacher is let go then this school is failing too.

I appreciate his devotion to protecting the students. The driver of the vehicle admitted she had no business being on that campus. Using it as a short-cut to get to another campus because she was running late shows her inherent inability to be accountable for her actions, thus making her a danger to others.

Thanks for taking your job serious and acting to protect the children. Too bad the parent wasn't thinking about safety. This could have ended way worse.
