The teacher acted in the extreme, but that parent is a self-entitled jackass. She needed to be stopped. I hope she was extremely late in the end. She is the one exhibiting unexcusable behavior. And she is modeling such entitlement to her teen.

The driver should be ticketed and the teacher should be rewarded. He was protecting students from her and her bad behavior. Simple as that.

These rules are put into place to protect lives and property. Being late is not an excuse to break the traffic rules on another schools property. Although this teachers approach was a little extra, it was still in line with protecting students. The parent admitted she was warned several times, and she proceeded any way. Please don’t fire this educator for caring!

The teacher did right...he should be commended for this !!!
He waved his arms in warning, and the parent CHOSE to ignore him and risk the lives of children !!

This teacher did not act in any harmful way as he was doing his rightful job. The parent didn't follow rules that is her fault. She should be given a ticket for not obeying the law. She should of managed her time accordingly and that would of avoided her from being late.

As a teacher, I know what it's like when parents break rules and put other children in danger. Please hold the parent responsible for her own poor decision making.

I support this teacher 110%! He acted in the best interest of his school and students! What rationale would that mom understand? Closed signs, cones, barriers, other teachers waving for her to stop??? These were all noted in the womans account of what happened! Everything failed to stop her so extreme measures were warranted! Way to go Coach!
