Shame on you for punishing this teacher. Why have cones? Why have teachers out there? For student safety. Would it be better to have a child on that hood, or under the car? Rita should hear from adminstration that the police will be contacted for child/staff endangerment & she will be prosecuted for trespassing should she EVER come back on that campus. Be an adult. Be an advocate for your staff (& students) instead of always siding with people who are clearly in the wrong. Hold THOSE people accountable. Make your part of the world better instead of caving in. If you can't do that, how about you go do traffic duty every day. You go smile at those who think the rules don't apply to them. You try to keep those children safe & other parents' tempers down because Rita won't be the only one driving around or over your cones...or children.

It's time for parents to follow the rules and respect all the teachers who enforce them. This would be much different if she'd hit a child and the teacher did not stop her. Support teachers, stop blaming them. Trust me we don't do it for the fancy lifestyle, we teach because we love our students.

Not only does it amaze me that a mother of two would act in this manner, but she has her child in the car so she is teaching her to disregard rules in the best interest of being on time. rather than follow the rules. I drop my grandson off and pick him up every day and it would
NEVER occur to me to disrespect the rules or the teachers and certainly never do anything to put any of them in danger. I wish Coach Moran worked at my grandson's school! Rita needs to come to grips with reality, what is truly important.

I don't think he did ANYTHING wrong at all. She ignored cones and verbal warnings. This is how kids get hurt. Let your kid receive a tardy and move on.
