We support Aaron Morgan, Dulles Elementary School Teacher - Protecting Children at the School House

I have 2 boys and I love what this teacher did, he cares about the life of the children.

He is a hero. We should have a law written to keep people from doing what she did-shortcuts are not appropriate for an elementary school parking lot.

Safety of the students comes first!

Rita needs to apologize for her actions. Get a ticket, some sort of disciplinary action for failing to follow school procedures.

He was doing his job. This teacher went above and beyond his duty, risking his life to keep children safe. Rita was clearly in the wrong and felt entitled and that the rules and safety cones did not apply to her. She should be charged with reckless driving.

I commend this teacher for doing what was in the best interest of the children!! It’s part of his job to protect those children while they are at school and he did exactly that. That woman was totally in the wrong and did not follow the rules after being told twice she was not allowed to go that way. This is why we have children who act entitled! It comes from the home and the parents that are raising them. I have three children who are in elementary school and I have used the drop off many times. The rules are put into place to protect our children. Your excuse of being late is crap. Wake up earlier. Plan your time better. Teach your child that when you make a mistake you pay the consequences and you follow the rules!! This teacher is to be commended!

Good job to this young man. Protecting the elementary kids from a lady driving where she wasn’t supposed to be driving.

I work at an elementary school and know about morning drop off. That lady had NO business cutting through and asking everyone else to make an exception for her. The coach did the right thing to protect the children. After seeing her ignore everyone else, he had no way of knowing if she would stop for children. He needs to be commended and NOT reprimanded. The lady needs to be fined!!!

Clearly the adult driver needed to be alerted to her wrong doing. She obviously disregarded all attempts to flag her down. Her entitlement is ridiculous. The teacher should not lose his job over this issue, nor should he have serious repercussions.

This man watches parents day after day almost hit children, after this woman having several people flag her down to stop and she still didn’t stop, this is what it took. He is hero! As a mom I say thank you to this man who keeping our babies safe!

This is just wrong to “punish” this teacher who was trying to prevent this parent who obviously doesn’t care about any authority and what is expected from her. She plays the victim however she is an offender!!! It is her problem she was late!!!! She was transpassing and the teacher blocked her way with his body!!! Obviously, his fist priorities was the safety of the kids!!!! Shame on you!!!! Hundreds of mothers were polled and NO ONE mother supported Rita’s actions or claims!!! The mother needs to understand rules apply even when it's not convenient. Coach was going above & beyond, he should be rewarded!

I fully support the teacher!

That mother was completely in the wrong and is even on camera explaining what she did wrong. Mr. Morgan got her attention where cones failed. She should've been given a ticket. Her lateness is no excuse for breaking the rules.

This man is a hero for putting his life on the line for children. Stop self entitled parents with bad time management skills from possibly harming children by bad behavior & driving skills!
