I don't live in the area, but I saw this online and the driver was completely in the wrong. Your teacher should be praised. If the driver hurt or killed someone because she was too special to get in line with everyone else, that would be a senseless tragedy.

I support the teachers decision. We’re currently in a time we’re everyone is breaking rules and some are justified. Which is not right. If a rule is arise, weall must follow. We need to lead by example. These kids need to be taught to respect rules. The mother confessed in breaking the rules more than once. There’s no acception. This teacher was doing his job. The mother is at fault.

FBISD, this man should be praised not reprimanded. He was protecting children, while this self entitled woman who admittedly was breaking the rules and apparently tried to run over the teacher because she didn't stop when he stepped in front of her! Really what are you teaching your children? That breaking rules is okay and if you step up to keep that from happening, you are reprimanded. Way to teach them to do the right thing and that are consequences when you break the rules. REALLY?

This teacher went above and beyond. I am outraged that a grown adult could go through so many safety measures in a school district, the media should have honored this man instead of focusing on the woman's bad behavior!

This is the type of teacher I want protecting my children at school. Do not discipline him, he is a HERO!!! Students need more AMAZING male role models like him don't get rid of him. He was only protecting the students. This is the kind of teacher schools need! She was wrong and didn't deserve an apology! He deserves an award for taking care of the kids and implementing the rules the school set forth to protect the students!! Why apologize to her! Apologize to him for making this such a big issue!!

The lady was in the wrong for entering into a coned off area trying to cut through becasuse she was late and didn't want to follow the rules. I applaud this man for standing up to her and teaching her that this is not ok! Right on man! I fully support you!

He is protecting the students and ensuring their safety. Parents can be self-entitled and blatant disregard for safety due to selfishness is inexcusable.
