Unbelievable that this women blatantly defied the parking cones that were clearly set up for SAFETY reasons! This man did his JOB WELL! There should be a "No trespass issued against this women. Give the teacher a metal of honor!!!

All he was trying to do was protect the children from this self entitled woman. Do not discipline him, give him a raise!

I applaud this teacher for putting the safety of his students first and foremost. Educator-blaming has simply got to stop. These men and women devote their time-their LIVES to the education and well being of children including my own!

This young man is a hero. When patents chose to behave in an unorthodox manner that endangers other parents, students, and school staff, sometimes it takes an unorthodox response to make them stop and think. This man is a TEACHER. He saw that the cones didn't teach Rita, his colleague waving her down didn't teach Rita, and she still failed to learn that she was in the wrong when he approached her telling her to stop, so he chose a bold stroke in the hope of offering her a fourth chance to learn her lesson. For the sake of every baby attending school there, I pray she has finally learned.

He is a hero. If you punish him, you’re punishing him for doing his job and ensuring the safety of children.

He should get a raise, an award and a plaque in honor or protecting students. Rita should get a fine.

What if Rita would have killed a kid? She had no business cutting through. As a teacher who has a letter in her file for getting into it with a parent over parking lot safety I fully support this hero! Unbelievable that teachers lack the backing of the administration.

This man was justified in his actions. We need more teachers that care about their students this much, and not a check and summers off!!!

As a teacher myself, I feel that the actions of this teacher are justified. After that parent took a short cut through a school lot her children do not even attend, she bypassed one teacher telling her no, went through cones that were set in place and then wanted to ignore this teacher as well. If we were to do this to a set up cops had in place, we would immediately be ticketed. Negative actions towards the teacher will justify the woman's actions and let others know it's okay to continue to bypass the rules and regulations that's are set in place and then someone could be injured and it would be the school at fault for allowing this to happen . Please put serious though into what is right and wrong in this situation and not just of the teacher jumping on the woman's car.

If this woman had accidentally hit someone while traveling in the unauthorized area, this coach would be hailed a hero. Unorthodox or not, I’d want him at my school protecting my kids. He was doing the most important part of his job.
