This Man should not be punished for what he did! In no way shape or form was he in the wrong. He was simply doing his job and protecting those kids and you should be HONORED that he is a member of your staff and that parents have someone they can count on to look after their children!

As a children’s minister, former teacher and parent of elementary children- this woman was ridiculous and entitled to think her bad decision of being late justified putting children in harms way. We expect our teachers to take care of our children and when they do, we want to reprimand them? What if a teacher was standing up for her child? He didn’t harm her. He wasn’t using anger towards her. You would be setting a HORRIBLE precedent to punish this teacher.

I support this teachers action. He and another tried verbally waving this parent who was late dropping off her child and she had no right to drive through the closed off area. I saw her on the news admitting to seeing the cones and the warnings and all she cared about was making sure her child wasn’t late and not caring about possibly hurting another child. She is playing a victim when she had to know what she was doing was wrong.

He's a hero in those kids life. She is endangering student and childrens lives. Give her a huge fine and make her give a public apology to all students and specifically the teacher defending them.

This is ridiculous. The parent was completely in the wrong. I can't believe that any consequences are being brought against this young man for doing his job. The parent was completely in the wrong and needs to be held accountable for her actions. End of story.

It is not OK to teach children that breaking the rules don’t apply to them when they don’t want it to.

This man deserves an award this is exactly what staff at any elementary school should do to protect theses children what if that mother had a weapon and was planning on doing something she did bypass the first guard to get through knowing she was not suppose to drive through that area that teacher was doing his job to protect those children and staff memebers the way his boss told him to and now you want to fire him smfh

Obviously the parent wasn't listening and following directions even after being told no. It kind of left him with no other choice but to put himself in harms way to protect the children. She even said she continued around the cones even when being told no.

He deserves an award and pay increase that parent knows she was dead wrong and I have a friend who's child was ran over and seriously hurt because the driver was late for work and broke drop off protocol.

The parent admitted she drove past employees telling her to step AND that she drove around traffic cones. I applaud him for protecting his students!
