To protect our future, one must be willing to do things that they would never do otherwise. This is the type of man you want teaching your kids, one you want them learning from; a viable role model, when you aren’t around..

Great job sir.
We too have jerk parents at my children’s school that think the rules don’t apply to them and they are always trying to drive even when there are children in the crosswalk and the crossing guard is yelling at them to stop. They start screaming curses out their window. It’s gottwn so bad lately that they had to assign police officers to stand at the drop off to keep the jerk parents in line.
Wish we had a teacher like you at our school.
Keep up the good work.

She was in the WRONG no matter how you look at it. What she did was what we all learned in drivers ed not to do in svhool zoned. She should be ticketed because what she did was kust as bad as pasding a stopped school bus.

We need more teachers willing to do the unorthodox to get entitled parents to think about their actions and what they are teaching their children. Thanks for trying to make a difference.

Having lived next to an Elementary school most of my life I can see and applaud his actions to protect children. Where I live it's a dead end street and for years most students walked, rode bikes or took the bus. But now it seems most students are dropped off and picked up by parents. This is absurd, for about 20 minutes twice a day I can't leave or get to my house! The rules are that only buses are allowed in but it never fails when a few parents insist they drive right up to the school fouling everything up. I've been tempted in the past to do exactly what Mr Morgan did! Teachers are so important to our way of life. He just taught parents a lesson in caring for children! And I hope his school district feels the same way!

He watched her bypass cones and ignore the teachers that told her she could not drive there. He had NO idea what her intentions were. He saw her as a danger, which she was, and put his body in the path of potential harm to keep students safe. Mr. Morgan should be commended for his actions!

Mr Morgan is to be commended for his actions in protecting the students from dangerous drivers like Rita. Rita showed total disregard for student safety and as such should be held accountable for endangering children and ignoring three warnings. Rita was blatantly breaking the rules and had no intention of stopping which is why drastic action was taken. “Who does that.?” A teacher with duty of care does that.

Mr. Morgan should not be punished for stopping this parent. What if she had hit a child because she was late and taking a shortcut. She shouldn't have been in the elementary parking lot in the first place. She needs to realize the rules apply to her also!! She should have been issued a ticket for reckless endangerment!

She ADMITTED she was told by two teachers that she was NOT allowed to pass, and she was cutting through the elementary school because she was late for the high school. She clearly had no regard for anyone’s safety and was self-involved.
GOOD for the teacher for JUMPING IN to protect the kids. Parents need to follow the rules- they are out in place for a reason!

He was doing his job to protect his students. This womans poor decisions to run from traffic because she was late is not arons fault. Everyone else had to wait in line and so does she. Cutting lines in an area where children could be crossing or exiting, just to make her life easier, is not an excuse to fire this teacher who stood up to her bad decisions.
