It’s ridiculous, getting the POV from the person who broke all the rules and disregarded safety. How else was someone going to stop her actions? She speaks as though she does this regularly and doesn’t care who it hurts or about the system in place as long as she gets where she wants to go and whenever she wants it. I think we need to look at the real problem here, and it’s not the teacher.

Come on Moms get it together in the drop off line stop drop and roll... don’t cut in line or through the cones you might just get a new hood ornament good for you Coach! Please let this man be he was doing his job and stopping a parent from going into an area she knew she was not supposed to be, she is the one at fault not the teacher. We need to back our teachers more in all areas, respect the ones who protect our kids 7 hours out of the day!!

This teacher was actually covering his duty correctly and now you punish him for doing for a greate job. No one like skipper because we wait for a long time come on it is not ok to be ok to let people skip especially for safety of our children

Rita, really... lol Turning that victim roll on for the camera! This is a great example of how media can twist a story, even using facts that should make you second guess the situation - listen to both these idiots tell the story, even speaking about barriers, and having to get back in line is inconvenient cause she is late... Cause the biggest thing to Rita is not about children’s safety, it’s about what if a inexperienced student driver would have done this... umm I kid might have been struck or killed?! but news team made it about how a mother was attacked for simply going around two protective barriers put in-place for all the ELEMENTARY KIDS’ safety! And I bet she was equally obeying the speed limit in that school parking lot too! This ain’t the first time she did this, that’s why the teacher did that, and it’s obvious she knew how to cut around those HS parents following the rules cause Rita aint got no time for that, Y’all (RitaRay/news26) are a shame!

Poor reporting. The news station got this wrong. The woman believes she is entitled and doesn't have to follow rules? She should get a ticket for endangerment to children and not following marked road signs.

The PARENT broke the rules, passing by 2 other teachers, driving around cones, and has the audacity to flip it on the teacher as she speaks so condescendingly in her faux-reasonable voice! MOM set a poor example for her daughter!!!

Rita is despicable. The teacher was 100% correct. I hope the teachers at my son's school are that passionate about protecting kids. Shame on the school district for protecting a horrible human being & hurting a clearly caring teacher. You need more Coach Youngs in school, but you will drive the good ones out. And you will be left with mediocre teachers & failing schools. I have been a teacher for 15 years. He's a keeper & she's an attention grabbing piece of garbage.
