This teacher didnt know what the driver was going to do and was doing what he could to try and keep the children he cares for safe which is more that I can say for the parents not following proper protocol thinking she is above it all

I think this woman is crazy and this man is a HERO. You should commend him not reprimand him. She is what's wrong with this country. You should prosecute her.

As a teacher AND a parent of a child in elementary school I applaud Aaron for being so determined to make sure children are safe. It only takes a second for a little person to get hit. Little ones don't pay enough attention to check that stupid adults aren't following the rules.

This is the kind of person I want protecting my kids at school, not someone just willing to let another break rules because their kid is running late. What if that was a kid on her hood because she apparently has the right to by pass everyone? Then that woman would be getting sued and a kid (rather the teacher) would be in the hospital trying to recover.

He was protecting the students. This parent is wrong and needs to be fined, ticketed and checked.

This teacher was just doing what had to be done to protect the elementary kids. This woman is clearly in the wrong and is trying to play the victim.

If that lady would have drove through the blocked off area and hit a kid, it would have inevitably been his fault for not taking all measures necessary to stop her.

Teachers don’t make enough to put their bodies between possible harm and their students but he did. Maybe not the only way to handle this but the mom was in the wrong, not this teacher!

This woman was very much in the wrong! She didn't listen to the first teacher trying to tell her no, she still went forward through coned off areas!!! These rules are in place to keep kids safe, and this teacher was protecting and making her aware....what makes her so entitled?!!!

The parent was in the wrong, and could've caused great harm. If anyone should get in trouble, it was her. Teachers are heroes. Not scapegoats. Even adults need teachable moments.

Teachers putting their lives at risk for children should be REWARDED not punished!

As a parent and also a kindergarten teacher, I fully support this teacher. His actions were in the support of safety in the drop off line. Way to go!

This is the reason we have so many students breaking rules. They’re being shown that it’s okay to disregard the rules by their own parents and by suspending this teacher the district is helping set a bad example.

I wish there were more teachers like him. We have experienced this first hand in our community as I live in Parkland, Florida. The school should be backing him. The driver was in the wrong! Follow directions people!!!

I could use a teacher like this guy who'll do what's best for kids.
