We support Aaron Morgan, Dulles Elementary School Teacher - Protecting Children at the School House

As a mother of four and former educator myself, I commend this teacher's actions. The driver was not just inconsiderate, but wreckless. She posed a great risk to the students, faculty, and community. His actions were extreme, but they were nearly not even enough to stop her. This driver was maliciously determined and I am thankful that he was there and willing to go to such great lengths to stop her. By risking his own well-being, he was able to prevent her from progressing while also minimizing the danger by making everyone in the area aware of her presence. After ensuring no one else was in harm's way he removed himself from the situation. He never acted aggressively or even disrespectfully. He simply did what he thought was required to keep everyone around him protected. He deserves to be rewarded, not reprimanded!

Coach Young was acting out of concern and protection of the children. He should not be punished because Rita believes she is above following rules. The area was blocked off for a reason, if she would have hit a child going through a blocked area, since she is above rules, you all would be going after the teacher for not doing his job. Coach Young did his job above and beyond on this day and I congratulate him.

He did what he had to do to protect the children from a woman driving in a restricted area.

I would want this teacher at my kid’s school! When I drop my children off I want to know they are protected and he did just that!!!

Support the teacher. He did a fabulous job of laying his life on the line to protect the community. Sue the woman for endangerment, if she continues to complain.

The mother driving should get a punishment and the teacher an award .

I applaud this teacher for what he did. I’m thankful for someone that will step up and protect our children at school. Why would this woman think it’s ok to go around cones because her daughter couldn’t be on time, risking the safety of young elementary children.

I support this teacher! Kudos to him for protecting his kids!! There are rules about drop off areas for a reason! This woman obviously thinks the rules don’t apply to her.

We need more teachers and administrators like him, who really cares!!

This teacher should be praised for taking the safety of the kids as serious as he does. The parent should be fined for driving through a restricted area, especially after being told not to go thru by another teacher

Parents need to follow the rules. He was protecting the students. How do he know that this person wasn't a kidnapper or any other sort of danger to the children.
