This teacher should be praised for his actions for keeping those children safe!! Shame on that lady for putting children in harms way because she was running late !!

What if Mr. Morgan let her pass and an accident occurred ? I think he did the best he could and remained calm doing it. NO ONE is entitled to cut cones and put our children in danger

The parent in this situation was completely out of line and the teacher SHOULD NOT be reprimanded.

This man is brave and I'd love to have every teacher in my son's school care this much about his safety. You're sending the wrong message by validating Rita's actions.

I think he was doing his job, to protect students....Rita should be ashamed of herself for thinking rules don't apply to her and for putting elementary school aged children in harms way with her eratic driving.

This is the teacher I would want in my kids corner. The woman was in the wrong 100%. Action should be taken against her and not the hero that was protecting his "kids". This is what is wrong with our world today. These self entitled people who think rules do not apply to them and the one person who stands up to say no to them is the one punished for his actions!

She’s admitted she thought she could break the rules. Why should he be disciplined for trying to keep the kids safe? Why did she continue to drive with him on the car? Why did she do this in front of her daughter?

Crazy drivers need to follow rules so they don’t harm someone

I support this teacher and school in their mission of keeping children safe during drop off and pick up times. The parent trying to drive through obvious barricades is clearly entitled and thinks the rules don’t apply to her. She should be ashamed of herself.

Entitled parents need to be stopped! Enough!

This teacher is a hero- if a child had been run over by this “entitled” parent, then this teacher, the school & all involved would have been destroyed. This parent needs to be disciplined, not this wonderful teacher. This parent disregarded official directives, teachers instructions, clearly marked traffic lanes (in a “school zone”) because she was “late” in getting her child to high school on time.... Now who’s fault is that? This is ridiculous & the school administrators & school board had better strongly support & stand with this teacher!

What would of made the news if she struck a child? This teacher did his job and kept a woman who couldn't take the time n call saying she was gonna b late. Rather she had to be self entitled not worrying about risk of children.

He is a hero. She should be the one in trouble for driving where she was told not to

This man was PROTECTING students and doing his duty. As a former preschool teacher and nanny who has had to go through the chaos of morning drop off, I FULLY support him. And this mother... should get fined. She broke a rule that could have ended in a child being harmed.
