This teacher was doing his job and should be commended instead of criticized. What right does this mom have to break the rules and then lash out at the teacher for calling her out? She knew she was wrong. That is exactly what is wrong these days. People feel entitled and don’t believe rules apply to them. She should be ashamed instead of causing trouble for the teacher.

As we have seen in history people do not realize what damage their poor choices in disregard for practices, procedure, guidelines, etc until (a) someone is hurt or (b) someone else does some thing dramatic. I fully support this teachers dramatic action in bringing to attention to this parent and other parents the significance of these rules and how children can be hurt or even killed!
This teacher should be rewarded and receive no reprimand! This parent (Rita) should be fined.

As we have seen in history people do not understand the damaging effects of their poor choices of not following rules and guidelines in place for safety until someone is hurt. This teachers actions may have saved a child’s life! I don’t live in the district or even close to BUT I would be proud to have him at any school. Teachers put their lives on the line daily and divote themselves because of their love for children and learning. I believe God was working through this teacher this very morning to keep this mother from hurting a child. Keep him in the schools and NO reprimand! Fine that parent!!

We need to be supporting our teachers and the SAFETY of our students not tearing them down and villinizing teachers who are trying to keep our students safe. You disobey the rules someone needs to say something just like this teacher did to the idiotic parent who obviously has no regard for the safety of the other students at the school.
