We support Aaron Morgan, Dulles Elementary School Teacher - Protecting Children at the School House

Proud principal. I am so proud of all the teacher involved. I can’t beleive that the news framed this situation they say that they did. Car rider line is so dangerous with kids crossing from the parking lot and the hundreds of cars.

He was doing what was best for the children!! It was her own fault for being late and thinking she is entitled to do what she wants when she wants! She is so selfish! I praise this teacher for keeping the children safe!!

This man is a hero! His actions were a direct result of a woman who, after refusing to turn around after being waved down more than once, could’ve possibly harmed a child exiting a vehicle.

Good job!! I am proud ypu took action to stop her.

Thank you to Coach Young fot keeping our kids safe. The driver should be held liable for not following safety rules. Not empowering our teachers to protect the children is a mistake by the district.

Safety first. Safety only. This teacher was doing above and beyond his job. Give him a raise!

He’s a hero!!

As a teacher who frequently deals with self-entitled parents and students, that mother was so horribly in the wrong. Her tardiness doesn’t I’ve her the right to endanger children. This man clearly will put children’s safety before anything else. He is a valuable asset in any school.

This man is a hero and a teacher that takes his job above and beyond to keep his students safe!! I commend him!!

You go !! Save those kids

This man is a hero. He deserves a raise, not punishment!

It takes a lot of nerve to break the rules and then blame someone else. Who would continue to drive through an area after repeatedly being asked to stop? Who does that? Who tries to drive through a person that is asking them to stop? Rita owes Aaron an apology, and so does FBISD.

He is 100% in the right. She needs a good traffic charge, driver education and hefty fine or jail. Irresponsible, ignorant and self entitled people like her are a major issue in society.

I want this guy to be my kids' teacher. He responded exactly how I hope all teachers would respond. Can't believe this school apologized for his heroic behavior.

Supporting a hero!

I am a 25 year teacher that has been in this young man’s shoes. I’ve had parents jump the curb in their car and almost hit me... and their children while messing with a cell phone. I’ve been cussed out because I didn’t know/recognize the person picking up a child. I’ve had to grab a special needs child that was running out of the school into traffic. We tumbled and fell. Resulting in shoulder surgery. My district’s workman’s comp insurance paid me so well, that I lost $1,800 in pay!!! How much would my district have been sued for if that child HAD been hit by a car??? This man deserves an award!!! I intend on sending a gift card. Have the guts to stand up to this parent who was “running late”!!! Teach responsibility, right and wrong... parents like this one think we should change the rules to accommodate their needs! How would she feel if someone cut through in a hurry and hit her child??? She would sue the heck out your district!!!
