We support Aaron Morgan, Dulles Elementary School Teacher - Protecting Children at the School House

Teacher was committed to keeping those kids safe!! Good for him!!!! I want him at our school.

As a teacher, I know how chaotic, careless and reckless morning drop off is. Parents blow through crosswalks with teachers attempting to get into the building. Everyone is is a rush because no one can put their kid on a bus, so they have to hurry wothout thinking of the safety rules. If the parent ran over a child walking into school, would the morning duty teacher be to blame for not protecting the child? If a teacher throws themselves infront of a car to stop a child from getting hit, he/she is a hero. How is this different? When a parent disregards and disrespects school rules and staff, then their child thinks it is OK too.

The teacher sould keep his job, for protecting the kids at his school.

Way to stand of for your students!! You didn’t know what her plans were when she drove past two cones!! I would want you protecting my kids!!

Wish more teachers were that protective of our students.

The teacher did a STAND UP job!! Rita is the insane mom, who needs to be ticketed!! I’m a mom of 3 which are all under age 6. We STRUGGLE to be on time EVERY day, but I would NEVER drive through the cones off area!! I follow the rules, because safety is first!!

This is the man and teacher I would want watching over my children. I commend his bravery and unwavering dedication to the safety of children.

As a one time resident of a town where a child was hit and killed in a school crosswalk I fully support this teacher. This woman admitted she wasn’t going to stop. I view him as a man going above and beyond to protect those kids. He may very well have saved a life that day. She needs to be ticketed and punished. He should be commended.

The parent was out of line, not the teacher. The teacher was trying to protect the children.

This teacher is great! He gave a clear message of what is unacceptable when the person driving clearly thought lateness supersedes safety of students and other teachers.

He is my hero! I wish he is my children's teacher. Shame on school district for not having his back. That parent needs to be ticketed and sent to do community service directing traffics for children.

I have seen children almost hit in the school line from parents refusing to follow the rules. Thank you to this teacher. If it was your child you would want someone to jump on a car. She was told more than once to stop.

I support this man for the brave action he took against a wayward self entitled person who had no regard for the safety of the children and setting a positive example for her own. Shame on Rita.

I am fully in support of this teacher! One of my best friends is an elementary school teacher and works car rider duty every day! She has been cursed at, yelled at, and physically threatened by parents not following the rules! Shame on your local newscasters that disregard children’s safety and would rather sensationalize someone who broke the rules! Shame on them!
