As a parent of an elementary school teacher I only hope my teachers will go to them lengths this one did. My child safety should not be threatened because you’re late taking your kid to school.

I support the teacher. That is the type of educator I want for my children.

Rules are there for a reasons. Our job is to keep the children safe. This teacher went above and beyond to do just that. He is a hero. The mom should get a ticket for violating school rules! Children safety first!!!

That mother would have been on the attack if someone else had caused her children harm doing what she did. The teacher is there to protect the students which he did. Horrible reporting to put someone on the news that was blatantly ignoring the traffic rules.

Coach should get a reward and Rita should get a citation or 10 or someone at least needs to yell some sense into her. Do the rules not apply to Rita? Rita seems like an entitled troublemaker.

If she had hit a kid and no one stopped her , then everyone would have spun story differently. Way to go standing up for the rules and student safety!

We should all be so lucky to have a teacher like Coach Young looking out for our kids.

He did his job! I admire his unfailing dedication to protect the children during morning drop off. It is always chaotic, people try to pull up at last minute before bell rings, etc. Nothing is worth a child getting hit! He may have been “unorthodox” but what else could he do! She wasn’t stopping, even when he decided to lay across her car.

100% support of the teacher and his actions. Rita should get a ticket for reckless driving.

This teacher put himself at risk for his students. Our society has pushed many educators to go beyond due to lack of respect. This lady accepted she was wrong and made this a media chaos for her stupidity. She has no right to complain and make herself the victim when in reality the victim was the teacher.
