We support Aaron Morgan, Dulles Elementary School Teacher - Protecting Children at the School House

My children attends Dulles Middle as well as Dulles High School. Although this what this teach did was out of the ordinary, what choice did he have? We forget why he did what he did in the first place. She was cutting in line. If she knew she was late then she needs to learn how to manage her time better. As a parent, I feel like we should not let our kids think they are more entitled than others. She was in the wrong as well, so where are the consequences for her? Why are we not acknowledging what she did. He very well may have saved a life. My children drives to school..... so would it be ok if they cut in line if they were late? No, I wouldn't approve of that because I taught mines differently. If your on time you're late and if you're early you're on time. If there's consequences for this teacher, there needs to be consequences for this parent. She was not right either. That way maybe these parents will stop doing what they're doing.

This amazing teacher should not be punished. The school school be pressing charges for trespassing because she had no right to be in that elementary school parking lot let alone when it was closed off and then ignoring the people that were trying to get her to stop. In the world we live in, if Rita had been a terrorist, he would have been applauded. Shame on you for even considering to discipline this man.

Teachers don’t get paid enough as it is and have to deal with a lot, including bad attitudes from parents, so it is common place to find a lot of emotionally disconnected teachers in the workforce. But this man clearly shows that his heart is in his profession and that he cares about these kids. I support what he stands for 100%

Something should be done about the entitled mind of that parent. Who does she think she is??

That teacher should get a commendation for his bravery in order to protect those students! The driver was self entitled and wrong!

Rita the mom was wrong. She can’t cut in line and it’s not safe.

Rita needs to get it together...what if a child had been hit by her car! Who would be at fault and how would this teacher charged with protecting that child have felt? He would have wished he’d have been braver and jumped on the hood of the car or to protect that child! The teacher used whatever means necessary to protect the children. When I couldn’t be there to protect them...a teacher like this man is who I’d have wanted with my kids! He should be commended...not reprimanded! Unbelievable!

This teacher is a hero and should be praised for his actions. The lady in the car is at fault for putting herself, teachers, and students in danger by cutting through lines and cones because she was late. There is no excuse for her behavior and this teacher was brave by stopping the situation in any way he could before a disaster happened.

The schools district needs to support him! The cones are there for everyone’s safety. Charge this woman with reckless driving! Unacceptable!

If she cut and hit a student you wouldn't be acting this way. Impatient drivers should not be around kids in the morning

He is the type of person who would endanger his life to save a child. I wish more people were like him.
