I want to thank that teacher. If my kids would go to that school I would know that they are very well protected. Thanks again.

Kudos to the teacher foe trying to maintain the safety of the elementary student. I applaud his efforts! The woman trying to cut through the lines and cones, she is yhe one who was in the wrong. Her irresponsibility of being late is NOT a reason to not follow rules and jeopardize the safety of others!

Mother of 2. If I’m running late, I still follow the rules of the road and the school zones

We have ALL witnessed parents like this who think it is their God-given right to endanger your child in order to rush theirs to school! This parent needs to have her license revoked and this teacher deserves a raise!

I would love to have him at school where my children are at — stopping parents who think they can bend the rules at the risk and expense of others.

I am so proud of him for the courage he displayed to protect the elementary school kids. I had a cousin severally injured because a car went around a school bus.

This only shows the lady she has no consequences for her actions.

Mr. Morgan should be praised not punished. The parent was at fault and needs some help.

Coach Young had the student's best interest in mind when he did what he did. It may not have been the best thing to do, but what if a student had been walking through the parking lot & this parent was in such a rush that she hit them? Is that what she teaches her daughter? That if you're late, you can cut through traffic risking everyone else's safety? If it's ok for her to do that, then what is the point of the cones in the parking lot in the first place? Why care about safety of the children if people can cut through? Coach Young was doing what he could to get the parent to turn around, even though she was so adamant to cut through the parking lot. He tried to wave her down, but she didn't stop.

A hero in my book...if it’s a public road and she drove through the road block with officers on site, she would know who she’s dealing with.

The mother was wrong for trying to cut thru the cones. Was what he did right no. But if he had met she wouldn’t have stopped and she could have hit a child crossing.

She had not stopped prior to this when asked by two separate teachers to turn back and stop cutting through the school parking lot which was blocked off by traffic cones. This teacher was doing what he thought was right to protect school children from a car that had gone around the cones that were supposed to protect them.

He did what he had to do. The lady is wrong by thinking rules don't apply to her.

This man is a hero. He took his so serious that he did what he had to do. This man doesn't have anger issues. This man has a passion for the children he is has been charged to care for. Give him a raise, you need more like him.

Someone ought to sanction that unruly parent for teaching her daughter to break rules, placing students at real sk, and allowing her lateness to negatively impact the lives & livelihood of others. SHAME ON THAT PARENT. SHE AND ITHERS LIKE HER ARE THE REASON PEOPLE ARE KEAVBG THE PROFESSION IN DROVES. And if her child were injured from someone acting like her, she would be the FIRST to sue. TRUST & BELIEVE.

I’m a parent of two that attend school and is as parents should follow rules if our child is late that’s our fault not the teacher. Rules are rules and I’m glad to see a teacher doing his job to make sure the kids are safe. It shows a lot that it’s just not about a paycheck but he cares for the children safety and that means a lot to me being aboarent
