Amen! Children's safety is far more important than the dented hood of a Mercedes. Follow the rules! Proud of this teacher for risking his life, job, reputation to protect these students. Please don't fire him!!!!

Good for the teacher!!! Those orange cones could have been there as a barrier for kids playing or walking behind it. Get up earlier and be more responsible, “Rita!” What if he was protecting YOUR kids? Rules are there for a reason, abide by them. You are NOT entitled just because you’re running late. Get up earlier and you should have gotten a ticket! Shame on you. News flash: Everyone is in a rush every morning. I support the teacher.

the rules are in place to protect the children - had a child been struck by Ms Ray we would be having a totally different conversation. As a parent who continually has to drop off children at school and be witness to those who can't be bothered to follow THE RULES...I applaud Mr Young.

Way to go teach, show parents that self entitlement is wrong

This teacher should get an award for putting the safety of children above his own. That parent should be charged with trespassing, her child does not go to that school and she had no reason to be on the school grounds.

This teacher was looking out for the well-being of the children. This teacher has nothing to be punished for. These children run wild after school to get to the parents vehicles. Simply because they are children. I think the teacher should be praised NOT PUNISHED!!!

I’m sorry but this Coach’s actions were correct. His job is to protect students & he did do. This parent is at fault & Shane on her.

The only person at fault is that line cutting parent who thinks it's her world and rules does not apply to her.

I used to work in the drop off line at an elementary school. We saw so many close calls b/c of parents driving crazy, cutting in front of others, speeding, in a hurry, running late, etc. I support Aaron Morgan, maybe not this specific action taken, but his reasons for taking it for sure!

This teacher was trying to protect the students he was hired to protect. No one got hurt. And I'm sure no other parent will disregard Carline rules at this school ever again, creating an even safer environment!!
