He was completely justified. No action is too great or too unorthodoxed to protect our children from drivers who have no respect for children’s safety. He may have prevented a child’s death. He should be given a metal.

I am a bus driver and crossing guard before that for Belton ISD. This man was doing his job of protecting the kids at this elementary school. It's pretty stupid to suspend him for trying to keep them safe. It's people like him that go above and beyond that will protect them No matter What it takes. If this woman was a shooter, would you be happy he was there????

Please stand up for your Proffesional.teacher who %100 did the correct action .
Or should all parents do what that lady did and make mayham at the school a normal occurance ?
You know the driver was %100 wrong .
She already ignored one teacher and then kept drriving with a human life on her hood .
She should not be allowed to drive in that school as she harbours no care about using her car in a dangerous manner .
What would she have done if a student tried to stop her , hit them and keep going ..she was late?

He did his job protecting students from someone who could potentially harm students, how is it that you want teachers to take bullets for students, but when he took the initiative to stop Rita Trimmer-Ray, who should be charged with endangerment and reckless driving, he's to be punished?

This teacher is passionate about supporting the safety of children in his care. What is this mother teaching her child? "No, I don't care about the rules! It doesn't matter that I'm late and not accepting consequences. I should get to keep on wrongly because I'm late, entitled, and teaching my child that s/he can do what s/he wants to do, regardless of the rules - AND to disrespect teacher instructions." How on earth does that help the child in the long run?!

It is unthinkable that this teacher would be disciplined for doing his job and such a heroic way. This lady clearly broke a very important rule which could have resulted in tragedy. Not only that, but she persisted in her dangerous behavior to the extent that extreme measures needed to be taken to stop her! ‘I was late’ is not even close to an acceptable excuse for her behavior. Good for Coach Young!!

I am in total support of Coach Morgan. My niece goes to Dulles High School and with a death of a student already this year in the vicinity due to a car accident, we need parents to step up and SLOW down in the school zone! Everyone has an issue why they are speeding and cutting lines, but it only takes another accident before we realize we were WRONg for speeding and cutting lines. Thank you to Coach Morgan for his selfless act as some parents forget how to behave as parents.
