I am an elementary teacher who is aaaigned to bus duty. Too many parents do feel that the rules do not apply to them. Safety first! Safety last! We will protect your children. And that’s what you want us to do. Rules do apply. Follow them.

I would have done the same thing. Tired of people not following the same rules everyone else does. We all have some place to be. Good for him!

Maybe unorthodox, but he did what he needed to do to make his point. Thus woman disregarded the safety of many to make up for her own problem if being late.

This is ridiculous. The teacher is a hero and the mother was absolutely in the wrong. She should have charges against her for assault.

This is a teachable moment for the teacher. Not a fireable offense. That woman should learn her lesson as well. No cutting the line, leave your house early or just be late. Happens to everyone.

He was protecting the kids. The woman should’ve followed the rules. They don’t change just because she is running late.

This teacher was absolutely in the right. He was doing everything he could to protect the students from a reckless driver on his schools property.
