This is the man that would step in front of a moving car to keep kids safe. He deserves a medal, not a punishment.

Every school needs teachers with this much devotion.

He did not earn a college degree to manage a parking lot of parents picking up their children! He is a protector.

Shame on you for suspending this teacher and then apologizing to this woman who was so clearly in the wrong! She should have been charged with many different moving violations!

I honestly don't think what he did was wrong. He is protecting children out in his care from crazy people!! That's part of his job. The mother on the other hand should be arrested or at the very least ticketed heavily with driving classes added on.

This is the kind of teacher I want my kids in school with every day! This is the kind of teacher that will put his life on the line for his kids and he deserves to be rewarded not punished. Rita needs to be fined for endangering the lives of those students and that teacher!

I was in education for 40 years and the behavior by many parents was deplorable and they always felt the rules didn’t apply to them-she drove around the orange cones and ignored the warnings to stop! The teacher acted appropriately, albeit somewhat forcefully!

There is no question that Rita ignored multiple teachers/obstacles put in place for students' safety. Aaron performed above and beyond his duty, and the school should be proud to have a teacher like that.
