The teacher was in the right. Rita is over entitled. She should have stopped and turned around after the first teacher told her to.

I hope the school district contacted the police and had her sited for child endangerment, which is exactly what she had done by going around the cones.

Rita Trimmer Ray Was in the wrong. Self entitlement is not an excuse for cutting in line. Rules apply to EVERYONE. You say you think it’s horrendous for a teacher to “act in such a way” as to jumping on your hood. No. It’s horrendous that you would show your own daughter that “hey I can do this and possible get away with it”. Good thing you didn’t. I hope your daughter learned a good lesson here. That everyone is expected to follow the same rules and same guidelines.

Rita needs a serious traffic fine if she thinks she is in the right!!! Police should have been involved to ticket the driver who kept driving after authorized personnel directed her to stop and not enter as there were CHILDREN just trying to go to school, parents just trying to SAFELY drop their kids off

What kind of example do you send when PARENTS can pretty much do whatever they want and when a teacher steps up to try and protect our kids...he is the one that is in the "wrong". You want to know what's wrong with society these days, just take a look at the mother driving this car. Entitled with the attitude of rules don't apply to me.. Disgusting!!!

This man is a hero. The woman very irresponsibly decided not to listen to rules because she was late, and he stopped her from hitting kids. Going on the car may have been a bit over the top, but if it was my kids walking across the parking lot, I’d be ecstatic to know that their teacher is willing to go the extra mile to keep them safe. This is an old story I’m just learning about, so I’m not sure if anything had been decided yet. Please don’t let this entitled mom win. Had a police officer been in the teacher’s spot instead, would she be singing the same tune?
