Don’t let untitled parents continue to think they can get away with anything. This teacher is what we need. He is all about the students!

I applaud this teacher for his heroic actions that day. Mr. Morgan’s fearless actions may very well have saved the lives of several students he was charged to protect. Shame on this school system for taking the side of this dangerous and narcissistic lady who purposely broke safety protocols and showed a blatant disregard for these precious young lives simply because she has poor time management skills and was running late. I’m disgusted that this honorable teacher was thrown under the bus by the administration and suspended for protecting his students lives.

Teachers need respect from parents, otherwise the students will not show any. I commend this teacher for protecting the kids, because she should be responsible for ignoring rules and others in charge along with endangering innocent children because she was "late" and "couldn't wait."

Hero! I have 3 girls. The drop off is tough. She is in a deadly vehicle not following rules. She should have consequences. Not Coach Young!

In America today we need quality teachers more than ever. Keeping them safe is a part of that quality needed. Quick thinking and calm mannered this teacher could have a bright career ahead of him. No student should be hit by a car because of a Rita - for her to not understand the consequences of her actions is upsetting and shame on the news reporting.

I do not support any disciplinary action against this teacher. Safety is of utmost importance all the time.

As a school bus driver, I'd have done the same thing to protect 'my kids' in a heartbeat.

It’s a blessing he was the person on that hood and NOT an innocent child who can’t be seen over the hood of an SUV!
