I support him!

He is a dedicated teacher protecting his students. And we should not be rewarding the rule breaking parent. Shame on you for not standing with him from the beginning. Does a child actually have to be hit by her in order for her to be wrong?

He deserves a medal for enforcing rules that protect the children. And she should receive a traffic ticket for breaking the law in a school zone!

This man is a hero. Too often at my children's school I see the same selfish and dangerous behavior that the mother displayed. She should be charged with reckless endangerment. He should be given an award.

Not the teachers fault!!!

Nothing should happen to this teacher. The mom was in the wrong and I can't believe she talked about how the teacher wasn't being a good role model to the kids at the school. What about her with her high school aged daughter in the car?!

I work at a children’s hospital. You wouldn’t believe some of the accidents you see coming through the door from people rushing or not paying attention while driving a vehicle. THANK THIS TEACHER DONT PUNISH HIM!

I don’t believe he was wrong at all! I’m sure all the cars that seem here doing that were angry at that fact she did that!

At what point do we stop caving to people who are so bold as to break rules the place young children's lives at risk because of their poor planning? At what point do we stop punishing people who are willing to stop these people from breaking rules and stand up for what is right. I say shame on you for even contemplating punishing this teacher. This mother should be punished to the full extent of the law. I am so tired I've seen people play the victim and get what they want. This one was willing to put children's lives at risk and this teacher was willing to do whatever he had to do to stop it. This is absolutely ludicrous. He should be commended as a hero not punished. If something is going wrong and this fool had hit a child , this story would have been completely different. Have you been standing there people would have said why didn't he do something. Well he did something and no one got hurt. If you are foolish enough to fire this man I'll put a good word for him at our school district. I would be more than happy to have him teach my children. This is shameful.

I appreciated Mr Morgan's action to bring attention to an apparent problem. I do not condone his method. But given the circumstances and recent deaths, I support his zeal to keep his students and my neighbors safe.

Good on you. This sort of entitlement is what kills kids. Her time is not more important than the safety of those kids

She was not the victim! There has to be clear boundaries set when your working to protect children. The school put cones out and had teachers, she had already failed to listen to the other teacher that tried to stop her.

As a teacher and a mother I hope I would have this much courage.
