We support Aaron Morgan, Dulles Elementary School Teacher - Protecting Children at the School House

This is like blaming a police officer for causing someone to be late to work by pulling them over for speeding. Clearly the lady was in the wrong for doing what she did so why is the blame being put on the teacher?

Running late is her own fault. It's ridiculous that she thinks she doesn't have to follow the same rules that every other parent and student has to. Awww... You'd have to get back in line? Your fault! Not his. He was trying to do his job, and you ignored EVERYTHING. Get over yourself.

This teacher deserves an award for doing his job protecting the children. Shame on Rita for thinking she is above the rules then playing victim.

This teacher is a hero. He is the type of teacher I would want teaching my children.

This teacher is a hero! You need to suspend the Parent Rita Trimmer-Ray from ever being around the school again! Very disgusted Fox 26 news out of Houston tried to portray her as a victim and him as having anger issues. He tried to keep our students safe from an entitled, out of control "parent" who put children's lives at risk because she was late. That was her fault and the excuses she tried to paint him as the one in the wrong! Everyone should be Praising him! He risked his life for the kids by throwing himself in front of the line and then Rita Trimmer-Ray didn't even stop when he was on the hood of the car! What has this country come to when we praise the Rita Trimmer-Ray's of the world instead of the true hero's like Aaron Young Morgan. You should be ashamed of yourselves!!!!

As a parent & law enforcement employee in CO, I commend this teacher for his actions in keeping safe our most valuable resource...our CHILDREN!

Good on this teacher! I'm shocked a PARENT needs to be told they can't use an ELEMENTARY school lot as a short cut during drop off!!! And then tries to spin the story to play victim?!? This teacher is AMAZING!

She should be getting a ticket! He should have nothing to worry about!!

The woman drove through the line illegally and refused to listen to the authority of the elementary school. The teacher did his best to stop her. This could have been a terrible incident had a child been hit. The teachers are there to protect these kids and enforce the rules. If others refuse to follow these rules, it puts the children in danger, as well as undermines the teachers’ authority. The teacher should be supported for his actions in attempting to stop her from driving through.

Ask Rita if she made it on time. Bet she would have made better time doing it the right way the first time
