Coach Young deserves teacher of the month award and the parent for one month while dropping their child off at school a traffic cone be placed on her car to identify the aggressive driver.

Shame on her for acting as though she is above rules of the school and traffic laws and should be able to do whatever she wants bc she’s late. And then play the victim?!? Thank God for teachers that are self sacrificing and willing to do whatever necessary to protect our children when we hand them over to them, trusting they will be protected and safe

I live in another state but the safety of our children is universal. The mother was in the wrong and should be punished. She does not have a child in elementary school that attends the school according to the new report. So she should not even be on the property. The news report also shows that is a heavy traffic area because a child was recently killed.

This young man did the right thing and should not be punished for his attempts to keep a safe environment for his students. That woman was in the wrong for not obeying his instructions and cutting through an ELEMENTARY school because she was running late. NO EXCUSE!

I am an educator as well, and it is a constant balancing act to accomplish our “professional jobs” with the reality of everyday life. Although he may have reacted in an unorthodox manner, it was obvious he did so with intent to protect students at all costs.
