We sign on to protect. Our course of action may all look different, but our intentions align. PROTECT THE KIDS! From each other, from themselves, and even from family. EXCELLENT WORK, COACH!

He did the right thing! She thinks the rules don’t apply to her and she is apparently teaching her children the same. This is why our country is in such a mess! I want him to come work at my kids school!

He was in the right. People don't need to be cutting in line. It isn't fair for the other parents that have been in line waiting! We need more people like Mr. Young!

She was warned multiple times not to drive through the cones, she did... there were consequences, she is sad, mad and outraged... what if the consequences had been an injuries child? She's selfish, childish and setting a horrible example for her child. He may have been a bit extreme but I bet he is sick of watching his elementary kids dodge the cars of parents who think they are above the rules because they can't properly adhere to their schedule.

Another teacher trying to do his job and protect the children by putting his life on the line and he’s being made out to be the “bad guy”. We are losing so many good teachers due to parents not following the rules and teaching this generation that rule breaking is ok. She should have left earlier and all of this could have been avoided. Ma’am you are NOT the victim here. This man should not get in any trouble whatsoever for protecting these children. He was working drop off for a reason.

I would want a truly passionate person like him to be watching over my kids! She should have followed the rules like everyone else & this wouldn't even b a "thing".

What this man did was the right thing to do. If someone drove around cones and were headed for an area where kids are supposed to be able to walk safely I would have done the same thing! I’m not sure I could have been as calm as he was and smiling though.

Good for him! He literally used his body to protect. You dont go through closed off areas of the lot just because you are late... They do what they do for a reason. The mother is in the wrong, not him.

Aaron Morgan, you are our HERO. And if the school district responds in any other way than to commend you - that would be a travesty. Thanks for stepping up and protecting our children when the panic/nearsightedness of a parent made her neglect the potential risks.

As a mother with elementary school aged children, I’m so happy there are teachers like mr. young. Disappointed in that mother thinking she couldn’t listen to not only mr. young but the other teacher before. I applaud his efforts, for trying to keep those children safe. And relieved another child or children weren’t hurt while she put her and her child’s lateness above other safety.

This teacher is a hero - in the fact that he did what was BEST for the kids, for the school. Shame on the mom for thinking rules don't apply to her because she choose to run late!
