This man did NOTHING wrong and everything right. This is who I want watching out for my children. This woman broke blatant rules, endangering students and should have been stopped. The fact that he is suspended is LUDICROUS.

I admire his dedication and calmness. He is a good example and I believe his actions, though a little ouy of the box, but justifiable. I applaud his actions. We need more Mr. Morgans around.

That woman was absolutely wrong. The teacher was absolutely right to protect the safety of the school and the children. She drove past two sets of do not enter cones

The driver wasn't stopping, so how else was he suppose to get through to this driver who was willing to accept a ticket as long as she could do what she wanted? It is disgraceful that various news outlets have made Rita out to be a victim. She is the shining example of what is wrong in our society- not thinking of others, being a poor example to her children and the community, and disrepecting important rules. If this teacher suffers any recourse for his heroic actions, then the school is part of the problem too. Don't let the journalists and Rita bully and cloud the real issues here! Stand strong!! Kudos to Coach Young for standing his ground in protection of the young children at Dulles!!

We need more teachers that care about the kids as much as this teacher! He did what he had to do to help an individual to her ego in check and to follow the rules as everybody else.

This lady should be given a violation. She disregarded 3 different regulations, cones and 2 teachers. She has authority issues and she is the one who needs discipline. Not this teacher. He did his job to protect the children even at his own expense. He is a hero.

I support this teacher 100%. Was it the best approach? Maybe not, but as a parent of children, I have seen parents put others in danger in the school pick up lines, so I appreciate that he took a stand. Write him up, but do NOT fire him for keeping children safe.

God's blessings to this situation all around. The school's drop off zone and struggle is real nationwide at all levels from the elementary to High school, but its simple - Follow the Rules & Safety First for our kids, teachers, and parents! Please do not punish this teacher for his gut reaction, purpose and intent. We'd gladly accept you in South Lyon, Michigan Mr. Morgan!!

How the driver has not been charged continues to baffle me, but nothing baffles me more than hearing that this brave coach, who is simply doing the job with which he was tasked, protecting the children in his charge. The fact that he had to go to these extreme measures to stop a dangerous and inconsiderate driver says more about this community than I am sure you would like. You are sending the message to the students and the parents that appeasing a parent who tries to stir up a hornets' nest, who also happens to be in the wrong, is more important than the safety of the children. This man should be rewarded for going above and beyond the parameters of his duties to protect these children, certainly not punished. Also, when will we hear of the charges being brought against the driver for violating school traffic and safety rules?
