The teacher was right for standing up to the parent. The parent needs to stop playing victim when she was wrong. How is she to talk about his unacceptable behavior when she's wrong from the beginning

I am grateful for teachers that step up in these situations. Those cones are there for a reason and the mother was completely in the wrong.

I do crosswalk at my grandchildrens school and parents always break the rules even when notes go home asking not to because it puts children in danger this lady broke them all by going through blocked off areas and not obeying the teachers directions she could have hurt or killed a child I see nothing wrong with what the coach did charges need to be on the parent

I support this teacher. He did no wrong. The one doing wrong is the parent Mrs. Rita . This teacher deserves an award and an apology from the news .

This teacher did what it took to keep his students safe. Clearly this mother had no respect for authority nor did she try to teach her child the consequences of not getting up and off to school on time.

This educator deserves to be congratulated for trying to maintain safety and order even if his actions were extreme. If drivers do not follow the procedure at drop off it is utter chaos and completely unsafe for students.

This mother was completely in the wrong. To think that she could break rules and drive through a blocked off area at an ELEMENTARY SCHOOL because SHE was late is completely unacceptable. I'm really not sure how she felt the tiniest bit justified in sharing this publically because it is more than evident that the person who should be disciplined in this situation is her. Praying for the best for this teacher.

I work at a school as the nurse and help with circle drive pick up. Parents are oblivious as to how many near misses happen everyday because of distracted, entitled driving. Do not double drive. Do not pass an unloading car. 2 more mins might save a life.

This teacher is a hero, not to be reprimanded or disciplined. I wonder why the local police department, upon seeing this video, does not issue a citation for reckless driving and child endangerment to the driver of the vehicle.

Coach Young does not deserve anything other than praise for doing his job and not letting some entitled Mother drive through a place where young children walk. She was waved off by another Teacher, disregarded cones and tried to get past this Teacher as well. She is clearly in the wrong in this situation and kudos to Coach Young for putting the kid's safety first.
