A teacher doing the right thing. Sometimes the parents need teaching too.

This woman is as wrong as two left shoes. I can only hope my child's teacher go to such lengths to my protect her.

As a former Texas elementary teacher, I think this teacher deserves nothing but a thank you for his stance against an entitled, selfish, arrogant woman. He was protecting children! This woman obviously cares for no one but herself; she wouldn’t even stop driving after a human being was on her car! If she would have hit a child, he would be investigated because it was his zone. Completely not fair!

He doesn’t deserve to lose his job... He was protecting students!

This man is a hero! Thank you for protecting those children!

This teacher could have saved the lives of children. With all the craziness he had no idea the intentions of a person driving around cones in an area they shouldnt that has small children walking. We need to protect our children and protect those that put their life on the line for our children. Rita was at fault not the teacher. He shouldnt be punished for protecting our children

I have had the honor of protecting children exiting and entering their cars as an elementary teacher for many years. The children and the parents know the rules and follow them. This woman was in violation and should have been ticketed. I approve of Mr. Morgan's actions.

Speaking as a retired teacher, I am so tired of school districts caving to parents. The parent was clearly at fault and the teacher was doing his job! Press charges against the PARENT!

That woman was entitled and because she has no time management or the daughter wasn't doing what she was suppose to be ready in time they thought they could avoid the rules of the school and safety of other as students.

He ABSOLUTELY did the right thing! The woman should be arrested for reckless driving and endangering children!

As a Teacher, I have put the lives and safety of my studnets at the same level as my own Biological children. This man did was was NEED to stop a possible accident and the Parent is 100% at Fault

I work Elementary schools for 9 years. Safety of children also #1. Parents often think their short comings are reason enough to justify what they do not realize the danger they may be creating for someone else’s child. This man did what was necessary to stop this woman who shouldn’t have been on the property, who purposely went through barricaded areas. Her actions were unexcuseable.

This teacher should be praised not punished!!

I stand behind and with my fellow teacher. In a day and time teachers are getting thrown under a bus, you have one willing to literally lay his life down for the safety and well being of the students. He should in no way be penalized for protecting the children he is entrusted with for their safety. Rita is very much in the wrong by going through a area blocked off for safety reasons. I'm sorry it is not his fault she was running late and had to take her daughter to the high school for testing.

This man risked his own safety to do a job he was given....protect the kids and do not let anyone go this way. He did his job!!! He should be commended!!! Especially with her commenting, "you don't know who you are messing with". That shows that she knew she was in the wrong, but she is somehow special or entitled??? NO, she should have been on time like the rest of the parents!!!! Or better yet, put her princess on the bus to ensure her being on time!!!!

Parents don't seem to get it, if this were a teacher at my son's elementary school id have no problem. Everyone does everything a little differently, including co trolling traffic
