This teacher did exactly what he needed to do to keep those children safe! This woman thinks the worst that could happen is a ticket!?!? She could have injured or killed someone.

Rita is the one in the wrong. She should be cited for breaking the law. Coach Young did what he had to do to protect the students. He should be given honored for his actions.

We stand behind his brave coach’s actions. To her they may have seemed over the top but to someone’s child that might’ve stepped out and being put in danger by this woman I do not feel they were over-the-top!

As a Mother’s of two elementary girls, I would want their teacher to uphold their safety. If a self entitled with no regards for rules cut through my kids elementary school I would fully support what this teacher did!!!

Former teacher here. I’m sick of entitled parents, especially ones like this who endanger other children because she thinks her kid is the only one who matters. The teacher did a great job.

Great job to this teacher! He did his job! It’s sad when people don’t think the rules apply to them. The rules are in place for a reason.

The teacher was doing his job; he was entrusted to keeping cars out of a restricted area. As a last resort, he jumped on the hood of the violator''s vehicle to stop her, as she was still stubbornly driving because she was running late; hardly a compelling excuse. If he hadn't done so, she would have cut through an area that was obviously off-limits, endangering elementary-age students. Although not an ordinary tack to take, it was reasonable because this driver, in a self-important snit, was not being deterred otherwise.

The parent is the one who should be punished for breaking the rules and setting a bad example. Leave your house earlier!
