Use some common sense. This coach/teacher was protecting the students.

Mr. Young is a hero! I support this teacher! He was doing his job protecting the children! Shame on this lady for acting like the victim. We need more teachers like him!

Way to go coach. This entitled mother is definitely in the wrong! What if a child had darted out while she just whipped through the parking lot. An injured child but at least her kid wouldn’t be late.

He is the type of teacher I would want to keep my kids safe.

We need more teachers and coaches like Coach Young. Shame on the superintendent for apologizing. She should be apologizing and be sentenced to pick up trash on school grounds so kids can see you don't get to pick and choose which laws you follow because they inconvenience you.

The teacher is to be commended for his quick thinking and actions to protect the children at the elementary school.

Don't punish a man who puts safety protocols first, no matter what fool thinks she is entitled to endanger children. Don't let social media trump responsibility/accountability.

I would have done the same.
