I am beyond disappointed to hear that there may be any disciplinary action towards this teacher. Why would the school say it's ok for this woman to drive through a restricted area, an area restricted from driver's in order to keep children safe!? Then the school turns around and disciplines the teacher for KEEPING THE CHILDREN SAFE? What is wrong with this schools superintendent? Insane!

So tired of parents not following procedures that are put in place to keep the kids safe. I’ve had parents get mad when I’ve asked them politely to sign in at the office and get a visitor’s pass more than once. Really??? After all that’s going on these days?

I believe the teacher had the best interest of his students when he attempted to keep the mother from driving through a restricted area. He should not be disciplined in any fashion. This mother on the other hand should be made to give a public apology to the teacher and be given a substantial fine for not but students in danger. It’s about time she is made to realize that the world doesn’t spin on her axis.

He did nothing wrong. Areas are blocked off at school for a reason, to keep students safe.

This teacher did the right thing. This lady could of potentially hurt children. It was blocked off for a reason. Rules apply to everyone...

This Coach did nothing wrong. Ding-bat Mommy's excuse that she was running late is BS. Leave the house 5 minutes earlier. Follow the rules. Coach deserves a medal and Mommy deserves a stiff fine IMHO

This brave teacher was doing his job. I cannot believe the school district is thinking about disciplinary action. The woman should be arrested for endangering children.i am sick of these school districts buckling to entitled kids and parents. This is why we have all the problems in schools. I have taught school and it is a very hard job, and the when your school district does not stand behind you. Shame on you. And thank you to the teacher for standing up for what is right.

The teacher did the right thing. The arrogant parent should be the one in trouble.
