This removal is offensive and unnecessary. Chris is a beacon on this campus that has helped to carry countless students across the finish line with his support.

This is unacceptable, he is a wonderful addition to the university and a genuinely good human being that does not deserve this

As a Blugold alum and mental health provider in the Chippewa Valley, I am appalled that you would consider eliminating these essential employees that are life saving to those they serve. If this happens, I will never support this institution financially or recommend friends, family, or acquaintances attend here. Bowing down/ caving to the federal and state governments is not the answe

What an absolute embarrassment for the dean, the administrative staff, and university as a whole. Give him his job back so he can continue to help young adults on their journeys of understanding themselves, and create events that help connect the larger Chippewa Valley community.

The complete dismantling of high value programs that exist within a educational campus is an abomination. These are not the programs you cut even if it were for financial and budget reasons.

As a local queer man, it's amazing to have this amazing bubble of LGBTQIA+ love in what seems to be a sea of hate and misunderstanding around us. Let's work to keep up all the amazing love, acceptance, and education continuing in the Chippewa valley! Let's keep these people who have been so monumental for our community in their positions or even better positions! They deserve so much respect and to keep their jobs!

If UWEC cared about their queer population as much as they care about the positive press it's given them over the last decade, they would never have eliminated this position.

This is so sad, as a former student of UWEC, I expect better from them
