I do believe when you become a police officer you are sworn in to serve and protect and this man did an amazing job at protecting He should get a reward he should be recognized.not punished

I don't know this man and I have a Kindergartener at MHCP.... I can tell u one damn thing, if nobody contacted me about this ahead of time and I sent my kids to school?? There would be hell to pay! We need more officers like him!! Job well done Sir, this household stands behind you 100 percent!!!

everybody wants to punish cops for being unsensitive and police brutality so now we are punishing police for caring and serving and protecting shame on them for the suspension

Thank you for alerting the students of Croatan High School. I commend you for putting MY child's safety FIRST. You at least gave me the opportunity to decide if I wanted to let MY child walk into a potentially dangerous situation, not the school system that OBVIOUSLY did not take this matter seriously. THANK YOU .

I love Officer Mitch he was the best D.A.R.E officer I have ever had he's very thankful he also shows very good respect he is a good leader and thank you for posting the about CHS my sister was going to go there that day to see her old teachers but All I have to say is THANK U AND I LOVE U-

As a parent of a student who Officer Mitch is assigned to protect, I respectfully request his immediate return to WOES. It is an injustice that he has been removed from a place that a place from trying to keep students safe. Safety is what matters. Our children are what matters and he makes us and our kids feel safe. If that isn't enough reason to bring him back I don't know what is. We didn't move to a small town in order to have a friendly, familiar face, who our child trusts, removed for a senseless reason.
