We need Officer Mitch back! Not only did he keep our children safe he was a positive role model also. My daughter always talks about the wonderful things Officer Mitch does, it's a shame he's being punished for keeping the parents informed. He needs to come back to WOES!

I am glad he was there. Yes nothing happened but what if he didn't make that call?? Has the school board thought of that.. Anyone that thinks of children's safety first is a hero in my book. Please reinstate this gentlemen..

first off, don't think just anyone can go in and do what he did, be accepted like he has and most importantly, make our children feel safe. he made a mistake but i do believe his heart was in the right place. you're kidding yourself if you think what he brought will be easily replaced. i manage alot of folks and half the battle is finding the right person for certain jobs. my guess is you'll get more than enough signatures to make the school board revisit reverse their decision. I support a 10 day suspension but to be removed forever is too severe. you guys need to get over yourselves and forgive, mentor and put mitch back in.

Don't police already have enough Monday morning quarterbacks & second guessers to make every decision a concern? Seems like a chance to establish a better policy. I guess Mitch's policy was "better safe than sorry"
