We want our contracts to follow in step with those of our respective work groups. The pilots don't have a joint contract, so we don't want something they don't have.

It's quite obvious that the IAM does not care what the flight attendants want, as we've never been asked what we want. Yet the IAM has stated that we want a contract now. What flight attendants have they've been talking to? I want a GOOD, decent, fair contract. I want an extension to our current contract. Our workload has increased since the merger, yet I haven't had a raise in years. But I suppose people who make six figures salaries don't care about those that live paycheck to paycheck, especially on only one income.

If our reps won't accurately portray, even bother, to consider what the FA group wants, we have to do on our own. Why do we pay dues ?????? That's rhetorical.

I want an extension, along with the assurance that the flight attendant group will be given a voice in future decisions that affect us.

The intirity of the Express Jet Flight Attendant body did not have a choice in this decision. PLEASE ALLOW US TO COME TO TERMS WITH OUR COMPANY, as we feel like our union has robbed us the opportunity by taking such drastic measures with out our voice!

We do not want to rush into a substandard contract. We should continue as two separate groups and work under our existing contracts.
