The MDHA recently made a unilateral decision to split from the RMHA for Rep B hockey starting in 2013. We oppose the process used in arriving at this decision as well as the decision result itself.
We are requesting that the MDHA rescind this decision and instead initiate a dialogue with the RMHA to address the concerns between the associations with regards to the Reb B program.
Please sign this petition to help keep the long history of Russell-Metcalfe community based River Rat hockey alive and productive.
The MDHA has not yet responded to our request for a meeting so we need to dial up the pressure. Please contact your local board representative today to demand they open a dialogue with the RMHA.

The momentum behind this push proves that our community refuses to accept this unilateral split. Call your MDHA representative today and demand they open a direct dialogue with the RMHA.

My son has played for the River Rats his whole life. Why ruin a good thing? Keep the program how it was.

What about the kids that have been playing with the same friends for years? This is really unfair to them.

This is a terrible move for the kids. Russell and Metcalfe need to stay together for hockey.
