As the list of Members opposed to the Proposed LRP approaches 400, how could it be more clear that many, many Members are HAPPY with the CCC as it is? We need to cap our Membership again for many reasons but most importantly, to keep our facilities from becoming overcrowded. Tee times are hard to get now at peak times unless you call 5+ days in advance. Smaller renovations like The Bistro, swimming pool area, improved Golf Range, should be priorities soon. The younger families will join our Club for the experience and relationships, not because we have State of the Art Facilities. If you make the CCC first class but also affordable, New Members will come and we will welcome them!! As has been said, bigger is not always BETTER...

I am not in favor of all parts of the Long Range Plan and also have concerns regarding much higher operating expenses than presented.

It has become clear that a significant number of members oppose the LRP and it is interesting that the rationale for opposition is all over the board. Some oppose the overall cost; some doubt the promises of the committee on dues; and many are against specific projects included in the LRP. It seems clear to me that with such diversity of opposition, we might be better off killing such a massive undertaking and tackling needed updates and improvements individually with open discussion and debate. I therefore am adding my signature to the group opposed to the current LRP.

Oppose to this plan, we appreciate the hard work that went into this plan but feel it is too much in scope and cost..

There needs to be some "changes" ; however. I'm not comfotable the $12-15 M will do the trick and it could then bacfire.

would be interested in a plan that proposed improvements in phases over an extended period of time.

I like SOME aspects of the LRP, but the scope of the plan as currently envisioned seems awfully ambitious. I'd like to see us revise and scale back.
